Never happier!

Everyone always says why did I wait so long, yup that's me too! I am almost 5 months post op and absolutely LOVE my body. I couldn't be happier and my husband loves it too, he didn't care one way or the other about me having the procedure, but he does definitely like it.
Everything went according to plan, I seemed to heal quicker than most, thanks to my Nutritionist and her coaching on supplements etc. Dr. D does not do drains or staples and I hear that is an area of long lasting discomfort.
Thanks to this website for giving me before hand information, I loved the lazyboy idea and slept in it for a full week. I also had a personal nurse (my daughter) staying with me, she was to stay 5 days following the surgery but extended it to a full week after and at that point I was good to go it alone. I'm so glad I wasn't totally alone that first week, just getting to follow up appointments and doing the meds, she was a blessing.
If anyone is considering this I say what are you waiting for.
The only problem I am working on is that I have gained a bit of weight ( 8lbs.), I'm not sure if it's because I have my appetite back or that I am just getting back into the routine of exercise, but I am aware and will keep on top of it.
Did I say I LOVE my body?

Upon my first consultation with Dr. D I felt...

Upon my first consultation with Dr. D I felt welcomed and cared about. He seemed very interested in listening to all my concerns and answering all my questions as well as my husbands cares and concerns.
They office staff all shared their experiences with their surgeries as this is what I was really interested in, knowing what others had experienced.
I scheduled a scar revision surgery and I was so nervous about the procedure. The entire operating room staff treated me like a queen. The scar revision was such a small thing to go through, but I am glad I had it done (it was mandatory before a tummy tuck) because this gave me insight as to how things will be handled when I go in for my "big" procedure. I got to have a look at the surgical room as well as how the staff handled things (me).
The only thing I wish that was available is a proper private waiting room designated just for family members that are waiting, since we are out of town it would be nice if they didn't have to go hang out at the mall. There is a lovely reception area upstairs but it's not really a family waiting area with TV etc.

Provider Review

Certified Plastic Surgeon
150 EDNA STREET, Kitchener, Ontario

As soon as Dr. DeLorenzi came into the examine room he introduced himself as Dr. D, I immediately felt at ease. I had heard that he was arrogant (20 years prior) but he absolutely was not, he listened to everything I had to say and made me feel that I was the one "in charge". The staff is so friendly, the girls all seem to act like they are my best friend, they are always asking if there are any questions they can answer and are just so accommodating. I totally would recommend this office!
