I lost a lot of weight very fast due to an injury and surgery. I had a lot of sagging skin. My self image is greatly improved.

I lost approximately 40 lbs in just a few months from surgery to repair a broken femur (due to taking Fosamax for an extended period) . I started interviewing plastic surgeons for not just a breast augmentation, but a lift, lipo on my flanks and a tummy tuck . I needed to do it just to feel better and look better in my clothes . Dr. Rumalla has done wonders and I will go to him again for any further surgeries I may have done. There were never any surprises with the surgery,  recovery or the months following. I followed their instructions and  there were no problems at all - it was way easier than I ever imaged it would be. His entire staff was always so pleasant and encouraging  - so just going to his office is a nice experience.

My Doctor: Vishnu Rumalla, MD

My rating:

My entire experience with Dr. Rumalla and his entire staff was a wonderful experience. He is very detailed and thorough with every step of the surgery. He is probably one of the best doctors I have been to - very professional, fantastic follow-up on post op procedures. I was 100% guaranteed and would recommend him to all my friends. I saw 10 other PS docs before making my decision and am glad I made the right decision.

Sounds like you had the works done! Thank you so much for adding your story to RealSelf.

How was the healing process for you?

I was uncomfortable for a few days - but every day the discomfort was less than the day before. I followed the instructions regarding incision care and how to move around at first. The healing process went along smoothly as well .......... once the drains were out it was all about getting back to normal !!!

Did great - followed instructions regarding incision care, getting up and down - not lifting and it went just as I had been told. It was nice to get the drains out at 10 days - after that it was getting back to normal - driving - still no swimming . All is good now.
