Juvaderm over Radiesse

Not Worth It
Spent: $545 in Ogden, UT

I had Juvaderm done on my smile lines and loved it so much, it looked so natural and made me look a few years younger, the only down side is it didn't last as long as I wanted, about 6 to 7 months.

So I decided to try Radiesse when I was told it would last longer, I was hesitant, my normal Dr couldn't get me in for another couple of months so I went to someone else that was a mistake as well, I had almost no swelling after the Juvaderm but after Radiesse my mouth got huge, It looked awful. I looked like I got really bad plastic surgery, I wanted to cry!

The swelling went down after a day and a half but I could not smile right, it almost looked kind of clownish, over time it lessened but I still dont look like myself a few months later.

Verdict go for Juvaderm.

What did you get done with Juvaderm that you didn't like with Radiesse? I'm thinking of getting it instead of sculptra due to price and to see how it works. thanks

While it may be the radiesse that is causing the problem, I dont think you can really know if two different people inject it. It may be just that it was injected poorly and not at all the substance. If it does end up lasting longer, I would talk to the doctor with whom you had good results about this and see what they say.
