So I had juvederm injected in my nasolabial folds...
So I had juvederm injected in my nasolabial folds and my lips just a few hours ago. So far I'm thrilled with the results. I was given a nerve block for the procedure. The pain for the nasolabial fold injections was minimal. The injections in the lips weren't bad at first but were more painful as the block was wearing off. However, I have a pretty high tolerance for pain so even though it hurt... it wasn't unbearable in my experience. I had some minimal swelling but not so bad that I couldn't stop by the store on my way home. I have the little puncture injection sites with no bruising noted at this time (about 8 hours after procedure). I am sore/tender but not hurting. I am thrilled with the results so far. I had two 0.8cc syringes total injected (including both NL folds and lips). I will try to update my status in a few days after all the swelling and soreness is gone.
