Not Worth It
Spent: $500 in Florida
My doctor said that this product would last 6-12 months, sometimes longer. I'm not sure who it lasts thing long on.... My lips were beautiful and full and now they are small again. The filler only lasted about 4 weeks. At first I noticed it going down and down and down. When I woke up this morning my upper lip was the same size it was before the juvederm. I'm still noticing a little larger pout on the bottom, but nothing like right after I got the juvederm. I'm very disappointed because I thought this product would last at least 6 months. It was great until it went away. I can't afford to have it done again at 500. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Had the same problem with another filler. Doc said hyaluronic acid injections like juvaderm get quick absorbed & broken down by the body when you have auto-immune deficiency and other medical probs. freaked me out! i got a check up, nothing appears wrong so i too wonder why it disappeared so fast

KL, I had the same prob. with collagen injections. They would only last about two weeks. I don't have any medical problems that I know about, but now I'm totally freaked out. I just called my boyfriend and asked him and now he is freaked out. Sheesh..... Julia

Hey guys, same thing happened with me and Juvederm injections in both my upper and lower lips. I was a first-timer and had both lips injected with 1 vial a little over a month ago; and now, I can not see any visible difference. My lips looked beautiful for about 2 weeks and then I began to see a gradual reduction in the size of my lips to the point where now, a month later, I can't see any difference. I am perfectly healthy and have no sort of autoimmune deficiencies. From what I understand, some people metastasize Juvederm more quickly than others. But, at almost $600 a pop, I was hoping for at least 6 months of longevity...may try a different filler next time...who knows! One month ain't gonna cut it...not to mention, I have the lumps on the inside of my upper lip, meaning the Juvederm may have been injected too deeply; that's why it's not showing on my lips anymore...
