Not Worth It
Spent: $2,500 in Tacoma, WA

I was thrilled the next day to see my face nicely plumped up.  It was downhill after that.  The saggy chin & dewlaps remained, unimproved even after waiting the obligatory 6 months.  The doctor suggested a second Thermage that might produce better results.  No thanks.

There was no pain & no down time, but I understand that the reason it is difficult to find someone who does the thermage procedure is because the results are so often unsatisfactory.

I experienced no pain or discomfort... but no results either. None whatsoever. It was a complete and total wast of time and money. The clinic was offering a half price introductory rate, so figured it was worth a shot because I had heard some amazing things about what results I could expect. I should have known it was too good to be true. I paid a total $3000 for both face and neck, and was warned that about 10% of people who have this done see little to no results, but was assured that I could get a second treatment done if I didn't see results from the first pass. I tried not to worry about the lack of results the first few months, but as time went on, I could see I fell into that 10% who got zero benefit from the procedure. When I investigated the second treatment, they were going to charge me FULL price for the second pass. AS IF I'd spend $6000 on something that didn't do a darn thing the first time, resulting in a grand total of $9000 for quakery. No chance. I chalked up my initial $3000 as a very expensive experiment but refused to waste money on the second procedure which SHOULD have been FREE as far as I'm concerned. Let my loss be a lesson to you... you're better off with IPL than with thermage. IPL is cheaper and more effective from my experience. Thermage is a joke.
