“Jury still out”

Lipodissolve: NOT worth it

Cost: $4,400
Pain: Mild
Lipodissolve satisfaction: Poor1 Star Rating: Poor

yesterday i took friend and i went to the consultation visit at fig in buckhead. i had done my research (so i thought)on the procedure. the wait was quite long and by the time the financial person was done talking i had decided that fig was not for me. (upper and lower 2400.00 each) i thought that was just a bit expensive not to be going under the knife. when i asked if anyone in the office had the procedure done, she said she did. i didn't buy that. then i asked for some before and after photos, she didnt have any. that kind of convinced me not to go ahead with the procedure. my friend on other hand did go ahead and get it done. she said it didnt hurt and her next appointment is in 2 weeks. i found this website this morning, and man o man this is a eye opener!!!!!!!!!! i wish i would have found it before we went. it has sealed the deal for me not to do this type of procedure. i will keep you posted on my friend.

I am so sorry that you did not find this website first also!! Unfortunately, your friend joins the ranks of many others of us who fell for the "look at me, I've just completed my treatments" and "you are a perfect candidate" story that is so convincingly played out. I wish I had never heard of fig!! If you page down to the posts dated September 11, 2007 and updated September 25, 2007 you can read a small part of my "story." I have been offered a partial refund by Mitch M. w/fig and received another letter today from Megan H. with the same info. The letter states that they are sorry that the program did not provide the results I wanted and that they will refund $2725 of the $4225 I was charged. The difference of $1500.00 is for the three treatments I received although if the person I spoke to when I went in for the initial consultation had been better educated on their product, they would have known that I was NOT a perfect candidate due to the fact that I am hypothyroid and take thyroid replacement hormone daily. I requested a refund due to the adverse effect of the PCDC rather than because I did not get the "results I wanted." No, I did not get results like were guaranteed but instead I gained weight and still have swelling in my legs.

OMG I'm so glad I read these reviews. I was fixing to make an appointment in Dallas and go for it, but then I also found out that just a little lipo from a plastic surgeon on my belly and love handles was half the price they're charging for this, and at least I'd get pain pills if I wanted. Hope you're feeling better by now.

Darla...what ever you do, do not persue lipodissolve. I am glad that you found this website before making the same mistake so many others of us have. Please tell everyone you know about this website so that they can be informed by patients who have actually been treated instead of being convinced by the "sales people" in the office.

Hello, I am the Investigative Producer at CBS 46 news here in Atlanta. I am doing research on lipodissolve and would love to talk with you or any freinds of yours that have had this procedure. My direct line is 404 327 3226. I would like to warn people of the potential risk associated with having this procedure. I don't think most poeple have any idea about all of this...Michelle Glorieux
