My main concern at 50 years old was my sagging chin and I started to have jowls. The neck lift was a breeze, the lower face lift is a bit tougher as the incisions on in front and behind the ears and take many months to heal.I am 13 weeks out and it is weird that I can feel where the muscles were tightened and some of the disolvable stiches. I also like to sleep on my side which increases swelling. Overall though my chin is lovely and I just have to hang in there till everything heals. It really hasn't changed my life except I don't jut my chin out in pictures to hide the double chin. I wish I knew beforehand how extensive even a lower lift is and was but then I guess I would have chickened out.
