“Upper/lower Abs and Flanks... Uneven Fluid Build Up, Numb Hips, Painful Blood Clot Feeling”

hi i can totaly understand how you feel. i had it done 6 days ago in uk on upper and lower abdomin. it hurts, and its uncomfortable. they told me that i have to massage the area very hard to stop having hard spots. i did not have drains my surgeon told me i have to open my insidions and scweze it out,i nearly pass out,could not do it. went to er to make sure there were no flueds to drain or to ask for drains to be insurted. they told me that all was clear whitch is a good news.so now i just massege the area.hope things get better for you but i will deffenetly go to see a proper doctor to check for build flueds whitch can cause infections.

I had almost the same expierence. The compression garment has to be tight enough to conture the areas, and yes my doc. told me to massage to since that will help the fluid to absorb and also reduce "lumps". It is hard to do that since the areas over the flanks are very sore. I find the comp. garments cause a buring feeling, esp over the flank area, but so far nothing bad has happened. My doc told me the flank/hip area for some reason is very tender awhile after lipo.
