“It's hard to jump the gun already, when im just into tray 2 and there's not much change yet...”

Invisalign: Worth it

Cost: $8,000
Pain: Mild
Invisalign satisfaction: Fair2 Star Rating: Fair
I recommend my Invisalign provider: Name not provided
Why: she's really cool!

im 23 and have really bad teeth - overbite and crooked fiasco. getting them fixed has always been on my top 5 priorities in life. (seriously.)
im into my second tray now... actually, am about to get my 3rd one tomorrow. hmmm... i have a baby tooth (fang) that never fell out, so my ortho had to take it out first. so great, aside from my ugly teeth, i have a gap in my smile: that was about my 2nd greatest problem in getting these coz obviously, the trays are invisible (if you ask my 1st problem, it's the whopping price tag, i'm not kidding about that price.) but i still mustered up courage and said yes to the treatment. pain-wise, it's ok: just the pressure for about 24hrs when you put the new tray on. after that, the pressure's still there, but i seem to notice it less. my gums are definitely a little bit more tender/swollen, but that's understandable coz my teeth are moving. i have the attachments on as well (i think 4 at the top and 3 at the bottom), which kinda make it hard to take the trays off at first (but i got used to it quick). warning though, these could fall off. but it's ok, the ortho could usually take care of it on your next visit. my coworkers didn't notice that im wearing anything on my mouth, but they kinda noticed that i was a little bit more "pouty" and heard my sudden lisp. i figured the "pout" was because i was still getting used to the feel of them, and the lisp, well, coz they really feel different. the bite feels mis-aligned as well. i have to say though, i have sores im my mouth now -- some inside the cheeks, others by the tongue and some by the gumline. but these are really not that uncomfortable. smile-wise, i can't say that there has been any major change. i think that's because it's still too early into the treatment plus my difficult case plus my age, but i hope that's all to it (and not that it's not working for me at all).

Hey there, Ive been wearing these tray's and let me tell you. It takes till at least tray 4 or 5 is when u kind of see a difference. I was on tray 6 and losted my trays by accident and could afford to see my dentist for like a few months but when i did i had to start all over again from tray one so dont be discouraged hun, it will get better. Besides the bad breath all the time which my husband tells me all the time you will be fine
