I had a breast augmentation done 3 1/2 weeks ago...The swelling is almost gone except for in the middle....After the swelling started to go down I  noticed a ripple on my left breast...It is in the middle of my cleavage and doesn't go away when i change position or massage on it..I have saline filled implant's placed in the submuscular position..My doctor said it  is caused by a muscle that had not stretched out enough, and that it would go away with time...Has anyone else had this problem?

i would give it time. your breasts will keep changing you arent fully healed yet. just massage massage massage. if it stays like that after a couple months then i would worry about it.

I hope that this problem clears up, and I haven't had the surgery but I would certainly recommend speaking with your surgeon if you're concerned and certainly if you're in pain still. That's part of their job! Again, I do hope you're feeling better. I was wondering if you might be able to add in your review who performed this surgery as I'm in the NOLA area and considering the surgery. Thank you very much and again good luck with the recovery!

I personally got sillicone to avoid the rippling, but I was told by one woman in my docs office that she had hers switched from saline to silicone specifically because the rippling was bad, and the doc said it was because she didn't have enough tissue to camouflage the implant, even sub muscular. They really should have warned you beforehand :/ Its normal, but may not get any better, from what Im told.
