Worth It
Spent: $4,800 in North NJ

I am wondering if I am being charged to much. Orginally my doctor thought I would be an express case. That did not work out. My co-worker who sees the same doctor is paying under $4,000 and his teeth have way more issues then mine. I just want to straighten one of my front teeth.

Are you sure that's ur only problem? Maybe they are noticing other issues too, and correcting those? 5,000 seems to be about the average price paid for invisalign. I was charged that much, but insurance took off $1,500 of it.

Thanks for your comment! I think I will give the doctor a call to discuss. I remember being told $2500 for express and $4000 for non-express. My insurance covers $1800, but I just want to make sure they are not overcharging me

No problem. :) I looked it up again, and $5,000 is that average cost for invisalign. I guess it can be slightly different from dentist to dentist though.

No. Your not being overcharged. Mine cost me $5700 and it included the retainer. I had alot of crowding so I guess it mostly depends on how much work needs to be done. Hope that helps!
