“IPL Working Well After 2 Treatments”
I've had two treatments of IPL so far at a cost of $200. I am a white male, 45, 100% Irish. I have mild Rosacea, and had several small spots on my face from broken capillaries. After the first treatment, most of the redness was gone, and the capillaries almost completely gone. I'm very happy with the results so far, though it is a pretty uncomfortable sensation, very much like the snapping rubber band described by other people. And I have had two different techs give me each treatment, which gave me pause as well. But they both seemed to know exactly what they were doing, so no worries there I guess. From what I have gathered from these posts, the type of skin you have and how aggressively they treat you are huge factors affecting the outcome of the procedure. My skin is apparently ideal (has always healed extremely well from injuries) and the techs seemed to be very careful in not overdoing it. I'm planning to do 2-3 more, and then see where I am at.....
