IPL in Malaysia

Worth It
Spent: $200 in KL, Malaysia

I did IPL 3 times.

The first time (year 2006)was unpleasant as the doctor seem new to the technology and i could felt that my face's skin was like burning when during the treatment. Before the treatment the doctor proposed me an "economical package" which will cost me RM5000 (arround UDS 1400) for 8 ILP treatments. As I insisted to have a trial treatment before i decide it, the doctor had charge me 500 for the first treatment (after negotiation she offered me only RM3500 for package ) but i never return to that clinic again and never wanted to try IPL again.

In year 2007(May), i went to UK for working holiday and return to Malaysia in July 2008, my skin condition got worsen when i was oversea and also may be due to the cold weather of UK. After arrived home, my sister-in-law was shocked to see my skin terribly covered with acnes & dermatitis. she soon advised me to go for Laser or IPL treament which her friends had highly recommending to her. At first I refused her kindness and told her that I had a bad experience for IPL. She kept reassured me that the therapist is from China and she had ran the beauty centre for more than 16 years who has splendid experiences and good reputation among her friends. Eventually I went to the clinic to see the doctor accompanied by my sister-in-law, and thus i had did second IPL last year September. There's no pain, no terrified feeling being scalding, i'm now becomes a regular customer of the therapist, namely Dr. G from China. Furthermore her treatment charges are much more cheaper and reasonable compare to others clinics in Malaysia.

I think the most important thing before we go for any treatment concerning a highly advance techno machinery is one must be well reputated and experiences. Dr. G's clinic is small and old without fancy appearance that most of the modern beauty centers or clinics show, but her experiences and ethnic are most favored by her patients.
