I'm 29. My lids have always been a bit saggy. A genetical issue. I look bored with a relaxed face. That's why I decided to have a thread lift last year. The doctor and team were great, can't complain at all. The procedure was very fast and painless. 2 Threads were "installed" through the end of each of my eyebrows. At first, I did think I my eyes were more lifted. Doc took before and after pictures. In the last review of the procedure (about a month after the surgery) they showed me the before and after shots. In one eye I could see a subtle improvement (lift). In the other, it was just unnoticeable. The doc said it could have been raised further but it would have de-charactericed my features.... He also assured me that my tempors were "secure" and that further sagginess would be prevented for a long time. I did not complain. Almost a year after, I have been thinking of having it removed. First because I still have that same bored look, with low lids and low eyebrows. And second because I still feel some discomfort when I sleep (on my side), and sometimes I even wake up with headache on the front area (I was never prone to headaches specially after waking up). Besides all that, when I touch the outer end of my brows, I feel the knots of the thing or something like that, and touching the skin right above it is sometimes a bit painful. For example, I could never have a forehead massage because it would be quite painful... Laughing a lot it is also weird and a bit painful as well. I was not warned of these side effects. On the contrary, every source I looked for at the time (as it seems that is little info in my own language - portuguese) said the discomfort was minimum and very short term... So you got it... I wish I hadn'the done it...

The doctor is great. The facility where the procedure is done and his assistant are also excellent.
