I am on day 1 and so far not so bad. There was pain when first putting in aligners, but once in place there is just pressure but no pain. I had a very hard time taking out aligners at the ortho today. I have 16 attachments so that makes it very tricky. I am also dreading the dinner time removal. I have to admit though that I had 4 teeth extracted a week ago so I did take a prescribed ibuprofin.
I had braces as a teen and my teeth have all shifted. I looked into invisalign 5 years ago and was not a good candidate. It took me this long to finally decide on metal ones and this time the orthodontist said I could try invisalign. I will have 24 u/l at 3 weeks each. I am a 44 year old woman and decided it was time to bite the bullet.
