Invisalign Was a Waste of Time & Money

Not Worth It
Spent: $6,000 in Phoenix, Arizona

Initially I was happy with my treatment. But after 2 and a half years, I didn't get the results that Invisalign and my dentist promised. The treatment was supposed to take about 9 months.

In hindsight, I blame my dentist for 80% of the failed treatment, 10% on Invisalign, and 10% on a stubborn K9 tooth that just wouldn't budge. But I'm sure if my ex-dentist would have let the aligners do their job without monkeying around and altering the aligners every time I went in, the treatment would've been successful.

For anyone looking to find an Invisalign provider in their area you can click on the "Find a Doctor" tab near the top of the page. It will walk you through how to locate dentists in your area active on RealSelf, then you can see reviews they have received, answers they have given to Q&A's, and read their bios to help you decide if you want to consider seeing them for treatment.
