I have a overbite and my top front teeth overlap. I decided to get invisalign instead of braces since I am 50 year old. I am on my second tray. The first tray was fine but the edges on the second tray are not smooth. Does anyone have any suggestion on how to smooth the edges of the invisaligns besides going back to the dentist?

I am on tray #9 and can see that my front teeth do not overlap. I am very pleased with the progress. I only experience pain for 1 day when I put a new tray in. The only real "pain" I experience is the inconvenience of taking the trays out to eat and brushing after I finish eating. I now carry the disposalable tooth brushes with me when I go out so I can brush my teeth and put the trays back in after eating.

Great review?

Welcome to RealSelf, reec! You can use a nail file to smooth out the edges of the trays; just try not to take off too much.

Good luck and please keep updating with your progress.
