I started with 14 uppers and 10 lowers. After this I needed 5 more uppers. I am now completing the final 90 days with the retainers to complete the bone building process. It is really important to wear each liner at least 21 hours per day without fail! If any of your liners do not fit perfectly, continue to use the previous liner(s) until you can get to your dentist to determine the cause of the misfit. I did not do this, so one of my teeth did not move properly. It is okay, but not as good as it should be. Most of my liners needed the edges filed, so they would not hurt my cheeks and/or tongue. You can do this or ask your dentist to do it for you. The only pain I experienced was when I put on a new set of liners. I always put on new ones in the evening, so they would be in for 10-12 hours. A couple of Advil before bed and I was fine by morning. The worst part was taking them out to eat and then having to brush my teeth before putting them back on. At home was okay, but using public restrooms could be a bit iffy. It does make you think twice about snacking. If you are a candidate for Invisalign, I would strongly recommend them over braces. Braces hurt and there is no relief. Invisaligners can be removed if they really bother you and you take them out to clean them and brush your teeth.
Great review?
