Not Worth It
Spent: $3,000 in Utah

my teeth weren't exactly perfectly straight and i didn't really see braces as an option because i had already been there and done that when i was younger so i wanted to try invisalign. i didn't really find it that hard to wear the trays and besides some discomfort the first few days and a slight lisp i thought the were great. they aren't exactly as "invisible" as your dentists leads you to believe, but they do look better than braces. i did my invisalign braces for 6 months and now i am out of trays and my teeth are still not how i want them. i have been given the option to wait 2 more months for refining trays that i would wear for 3 more months probably or wear regular braces for 2 months. i hate the idea of braces but i would be completely done with braces by the time my invisalign even showed up.

so now i am at a crossroads i don't really want to do the invaslign because my dentist says that there isn't a 100% chance that my teeth will be straight at the end of but can guarantee that they will if i put braces on. i just wish that i would have known more about invaslign before i decided which way i wanted to straighten my teeth. i have found that most people have to order more trays and then get braces afterward because there teeth still aren't straight. if you want invaslign learn all the facts before spending all your time and money on something that only does half the job.
