Worth It
Spent: $7,000 in Hanover, MA

I was in the invisalign for one year+ as I did not want traditional metal braces (had braces as teen, did not wear retainer, so teeth starting to go back to original position). I too was not told about the "buttons" but I only had three attached and they were on side teeth (can't imagine having many more) - yes, buttons somewhat annoying but only marginally visable. I think Invisalign is perfect for anyone looking to "tweak" or refine the straightness of their teeth - I drank all liquids (including coffee, tea, wine) with the aligners in and did not experience the bad breath, etc. others talked about - I wore them 24 hours a day except when eating and at important social events - I always brushed teeth and aligners before putting them back in - if you are a "snacker" don't bother as you will have to take them out too often. AS FOR KEEPING YOUR ALIGNERS CLEAN, GO TO THE INVISALIGN WEBSITE AND PURCHASE THEIR CLEANING CRYSTALS - THEY ARE AWESOME AND MAKE THE ALIGNERS SPARKLE - SO MUCH BETTER THAN DENTURE CLEANSER OR BRUSHING ALONE!!!
