Not Worth It
Spent: $3,000 in Lansing, MI

I have to say that there are some pluses to wearing the invisaligns. They are easy to use, a lot more flexible than braces, because you can take them off to clean them and they straighten teeth much faster than braces. The minus side to them is that they are expensive and for the money they don't quite do the job they say they promise to do. I wore about 30 different sets of trays and to this day, my two front teeth still aren't straight. The intial 20+ trays didn't do the job so my dentist ended up ordering 4 more sets that and they still aren't straight. My dentist stopped recommending them to his patients, because of the problems he had with the company. Now I'm going to have to pay for veneers to get the straight teeth I paid for to begin with.

There was an interesting question posted in the Q&A that asked "Who Makes the Treatment Plan, the Dentist or the Invisalign Company?" You can click here to read the dentists answers to that.
