Worth It
Spent: $6,500 in Sonoma County, California

I have read reviews on this site for three months, making the decision to use Invisalign! It's my turn now...I don't usually do this, but I believe that people are more inclined to write unfavorable reviews if things aren't good. If things are great, we simply go on with our lives! I'm here to tell you that, one week in, I LOVE my Invisaligns!! No trouble, very little pain, and an overall wonderful experience. I am a bit "Lithpy", but only my husband seems to notice, so it must not be too bad...I hear it, of course, but that's to be expected. I've lost three pounds this first week, probably because I'm not snacking. You can, of course, but you do need to plan your snacks. It just takes a little planning, but it's no big deal. I eat better regular meals, because I know that the meal needs to last until the next eating time. Hey, straight teeth, better nutrition, and a few pounds gone...winning situation all the way round! I'll check in more or less regularly to let you all know how things are going. Thank you all for your reviews...they were very helpful in my decision to go with Invisalign, and I'm so happy that I have!

I'm in week ten now, and still love my Invisalign! Very little pain and discomfort. One way that I do deal with what little I have is to start a new set of trays at night, so I have ten hours or so of uninterrupted wear. That way, they are easier to remove and put back in the next day! I also take a mild pain-killer before bed, just in case. (Aspirin or its equivalent) I can feel the difference in my teeth when I floss, but I don't see any difference yet...but I'm sure I will! Here's a wonderful unintended benefit...ten weeks gone, and so are ten pounds! Hey, there's no snacking between meals with Invisalign...only water. If you really want something, of course all you have to do is pop them out and eat...but when you think about it, it's simply more of a hassle than the snack is usually worth. Around here we just call it the Invisalign Diet. All this while on vacation for four weeks! The aligners are easy to deal with...just takes a bit more time, that's all...

I've read a lot of reviews on this site and thought I would share mine. I am in week 2 of my invisalign treatment (9 trays on the bottom - 15 on the top). So far, it has been great. People hardly notice. The "bumps" aren't even really visable. The pain has been very very minimal...first couple days a pain, but quickly gets better. I had a little trouble at the start getting them off, but I think it was mainly because of my crooked teeth. So far I'm happy...I'll let you know if that stays the same in 7 months :)
