I am currently in week three of Invisalign and just got my "buttons" or as I prefer to call them "nubbins" attached...It was interesting! My doctor let me wear the trays the first 2 weeks without these attachments to get used to the whole thing and then placed 6 nubbins on various teeth and WOW! The pressure is much more than without but rather than complaining, I just deal with it! Hey, I get to take them out when I eat and get a few minutes of relief unlike if I had a mouthful of metal!
Another plus is I am a huge snacker, and whenever you eat you have to brush before putting the trays back in, so now I am brushing up to 10 times a day. While this can be tedious, I was asked last week three times if I had gotten my teeth bleached! I also got to peek at my final tray and am very excited to get there someday! Yea, we have to endure some pain to get there, but buck up and deal with it!
