I qualified for the "express" invisalign and it was great throughout the process but a year and a half later I noticed my teeth starting to shift back. Two years later now I'm still wearing my retainers at night and my gap is back. Not as bad as it was but when you pay that kind of money you would expect permanent change and that was NOT the case. I wouldn't recommend it unless your insurance pays most of it, which was my case. If it had been ALL my money, I'd be complaining to someone.

If your teeth are shifting back it means you are not wearing your retainer enough. Teeth shift regardless if it is Invisalign or braces.

I am currently doing invisalign to close a gap and my provider told me before I started that he would have to put a bracket behind my front teeth once my gap is closed because with most adults the gap will come back. He said it would be my teeth color and unnoticeable. This may be your issue... hope this helps!

A dentist experienced in veneers can usually create excellent results to close a remaining gap. The veneer is applied to the sides of the teeth, and unless the gap is huge, can effectively close it.
