It was great! Procedure was good...just wondering about the internal stitches after so many years later...I did it to take some skin off after weight loss, and to tighten the muscle.

I had a tummy tuck in 2002. My internal stitches still show up in xrays...my question is, can the stitches pop open after so long and cause distention in my upper abdomen?

From reading posts I think they're meant and safe to be permanent. Who did your surgery? I'm thinking of having it done and have been reading posts trying to get a good Dr. Thanks for any info.

Hey, I thought the stitches dissolved into the muscle.....
