Post op day 7- sickness

Well for the last few hours I have done nothing but violently vomit. I'm really nervous this could cause damage to my newly placed abs. Today I have a follow up with the doctor so I will be interested to see what he has to say. I really was not expecting the sickness to come along with the sore muscles. It would be ok if it was just sore muscles but I'm vomiting and probably have a fever on top of it. I finally pooped today but it was not much. Around noon I took a laxative and nothing has happened down there either. This has really been hard on my body and I just wish the sickness would go away. I will update with what the doctor has to say

Post op day 4

Well today I woke up naseous and almost like I had a fever. I got a prescription filled for the tummy sickness and once I had that and some soup in me I felt a lot better. I'm still worried about the itchy feelings but if I have that I'm going to take Benadryl to hopefully help. Last night with the itching I basically had a panic attack because of it - which I must say is not in my character to do this.
I took a shower for the first time since the operation (stinky gal) and it exhausted me. My shower was very short so I didn't risk getting light headed and falling basically some quick soap and hair washed. I took some pictures post shower. You can see I'm really swollen but I think it'll look great when the swelling goes down and the feeling returns to the area.

I also have been making myself walk a little more each day. Yesterday I walked 3 times for a total of about 1.1 miles. Today I walked 3 times and was able to go 1.75. I have been drinking a lot of muscle milk to help repair the muscles that were damaged (just like a body builder would do) and I think it's helped. I can't wait until I can get the drains out and just stand up. Being hunched over has been hard too.
The constant exhaustion has been hard as well. I am always napping but really haven't gotten a good nights sleep because it's hard to get comfortable.

I'm still unsure of the results but it could be the pain meds talking. I'm just happy I have clean hair now! Ha! Thanks for reading and the positive comments

Itchy

My stomach is extremely itchy where I had the surgery and it is giving me a lot of anxiety. It's itchy within my stomach where I had surgery. Is this a normal thing? The worst part where I want to itch - which the surface is numb and stolen - is where my crease was in the above pictures at my belly button. I feel like I'm going on a rampage. Anyone have suggestions?

Dr jones seemed really knowledgable on the topic. I was not going to have drains because I had a 'drainless' tummy tuck but because they took so much from my back they had to put them in and I trust this decision. He had to go out of town and dr sando did my follow up for discharge and he also made me very comfortable. When a drain started seeping (it can happen and is normal) both dr sando and dr jones called me about the issue on the weekend. Also at the facility I even made the comment 'this is the shortest amount of time I've ever waited for a doctor'. The procedure was at st vincent carmel
