I had a full tummy tuck 4 years ago but I still have a hardening around and above the scar, can I message it and loosen it up or is it there to stay, it is about the size of 6 quarters. No potruding, no pain, in fact my stomach is still numb. Anything is better than what I had but I don't like the hardness.

My doctor did a full tummy tuck in his office which was scary. I don't like the scar that was left but he tightened everything up. I also was disturbed that he woke me up to show me the fat he took out of me. This was creepy. The swelling didn't go completely down either but I am glad I did it if that makes since.

Oh my that sounds like a very frightening experience..Yikes!

Would you be comfortable posting your pictures of the problem area and letting some of the doctors on the site take a look and comment. I know there are treatments that can be done on some scars but not sure of the extent.
