I had my TT with lipo May 7,2011. I was in a lot of pain the first 2 days but it got better as the days went on. I can now get up and about by myself and drive myself to and from my ps appts. and I go back to work Monday :(.

I'm 31 5'4 and had my baby at 17 and never got back right. I have a very short torso so i really carry abd wt. I'm loving my result so far yes it still hurts and I'm still swollen but you can def see a difference and I'm so happy I did it my hubby is too cant wait for the swelling to go down completely.

So I have this is my third day at work the first...

So I have this is my third day at work the first day I thought I was going to die. OMG my stomach was sooooo swollen and I kept having to get up then I noticed that clear fluid was leaking from my belly button. I called my PS & he said I should be ok until my appt yesterday. I was freaking out a lil but I said ok, it kept leaking so needless to say by the time I got to his office I was more than freaked but tried to act calm and rational and ask as many questions as I needed. He removed my sutures and cleaned it up which in my opinion made it worse. Now I have a foul smelling discharge and I still see 1 suture so I will be going to his office 1st thing in the AM. I really think it's infeceted and I asked him poit blank was it infected and he said NO. Has anyone else had this happen? Am I over reacting? HELP please?

Ok so went to PS this morning after work for him...

Ok so went to PS this morning after work for him to remove my last suture in by belly button. He say my wound has macerated tissues so I am still going to have to pack it and change the packing every 3-4 hrs. But other than that and trying to heal the scars left from my hives breakout I feel and look great. :)

Good to hear you are doing so well:)   Yes you will continue to heal each week and will be amazed at the changes in your body from week to week.  Were you able to take before and after pictures?  It is great fun to watch the changes take place.

Keep us up to date on how you are doing.  Congratulations.

I have before pics but have not takin after yet because I had a really bad allergic reaction to the antibiotics I was on and broke out with hives all over my body they are slowly but surely leaving now but my skin is very blotchy and bruised up now :(
