I had a rhinoplasty 5 years ago with unsatisfactory results. Having expressed my concerns with my surgeon, he said that a revision to address the areas that bothered me on my nose would be very risky and possibly result in an unfavorable outcome. He did a revision to rasp the root, and remove some excess cartilage on the tip, but the areas of concern are still apparent.

A second opinion confirmed an open-roof deformity as well as a "snout-like" tip. This surgeon is retiring soon and gave the impression that it would be too complicated a case to take on.

Please direct me to the best of the best, I want this problem corrected and am tired of disliking the nose on my face.

In your opinion, who would be the top revision rhinoplasty specialist?

My Doctor: name not provided

Only "before" pictures were taken, possibly because the result is less than satisfactory. Staff don't return phone calls, have a rude attitude. Surgeon did not address the problems that were created during the surgery, he could have at least told me who could correct them.

I am having a similiar problem and am also trying to find a revision expert. These are a few DR.s I have heard of. Keep in my mind I have not actually seemn thee Dr.'s I have just gotten there names from other people... My friend Angie recommended DR. Clark in Sacramento, he specializes in overly shortened noses and bad nose jobs. She also recommended Dr. Thomas Le in Baltimore. I have also heard of Dr. Spencer Cochran, he is a Dallas rhino expert supposedly.. DR. Frank Ryan is a celebrity Dr and Dr. Kanodia is also a celebrity Dr. I figure if celebrities go to them than they must have a good rep. However I am looking for a DR. closer to home. I think I may have found 2 good choices but I don't know for sure who is going to my revision. I will let you know how mine goes if I remember. I have to wait for 8 more months b4 they can operate on it again. GOOD LUCK!!
