46 and Had a Facelift - Illinois

My idea for having a facelift was to do it earlier in life so it wouldn't be so extreme that people would really notice. For years I have noticed the jowels and skin on my neck start to sag. The genetics in my family are not the best. I have always taken care of my skin but eventually your genes will prevail.

I am 3 days post and I will say day 1 was uncomfortable. I do have a lot of swelling in my cheeks and minimal bruising. My gobbler neck is gone! That alone makes me happy.

My doctor is the best in this area. He will say things how it is. If he can or can't achieve your expectations he will tell you bluntly. But he is very good at his job!

well,i do hope that you are very happy and the results are as you expected, but 3 days post op is far to early to know.
I remember that after my op ,even 3 weeks after,i was over the moon as i looked so good, but sadly once the swelling was gone,it was another story.
But were all different, and time can only tell, but i wish you all the very best.
