I am a 56 year old female that had acne as a teenager. Of course, against my mother's instructions, I picked. The scarring is minimal, with a few deeper ruts, they are only visible when the "right" lighting hits my face and shadows the gullies.

After seeing the before and after fraxel photos, Oct. 2008, for adult acne scarring, I decided this may be the answer to a smoother complexion. After 4 treatments, the deeper scars look deeper and are more visible. The tiny scars may have smoothed out, but I would not recommend this expensive procedure to anyone trying to smooth out or "fill in" acne scarring.

Did not come close to accomplishing my goals. Expensive. I could have gotten the same results with a $50 chemical peel.

Fraxel Restore Gave Me MUCH Healthier Skin 5 Mar 2009
I did 3 Fraxel Restore Treatments In the fall of 2008. We took a picture after the 3 Fraxels treatments and then took a picture one year after my last Fraxel. Although I followed up Fraxel with Obagi Nu-derm system for 6 weeks. My transformation was amazing. Indisputable results. My acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, and large pores were reduced to almost nothing. I went to a Med Spa that put together the right regime for me. If Fraxel didn't work for you...you may not have been the right candidate for that procedure.

I am glad to hear you had a great improvement in your skin texture with the restore,i have mild scarring from the repair{tiny dot marks} i am undecided to do the Sciton BBL or restore,which i have been told is new & improved,no blue dye etc that improves acne scarring.I do not want to make it worse. anyone have this happen,i would like to hear thank you
