Not Worth It
Spent: $4,500 in New York City, NY
Any good plastic surgeon will tell you that Liposuction is not for weight loss. It is meant to target areas of the body that don't respond to diet and exercise. Any doctor who tells you otherwise is misleading you. I had it done on my inner and outer thighs, and inner knees bc I am 5'6" 130 lbs with a body fat index of 16%. I work out 5-6 times a week and walk EVERYWHERE, but I got THIGHS and nothing I do changes that - THAT is why I tried Liposuction.
And by the way, the pain was excrutiating and it was 2 weeks before I could walk somewhat normally again. I was told before hand, it would be "uncomfortable" like a "a hard workout". It actually felt like someone shoved a metal rod through my leg.
It was SO not worth it. I lost at most 1/4-1/2" off each thigh and my knees look exactly the same. Disappointing, expensive and SO painful.
