Worth It at Age 50 - Houston, TX

First of all let me be clear that I am not obese or even overweight. I am a 50 year old grandmother who wears a size 6 but has had a loose tummy since giving birth to my one and only daughter. I work out 5 days a week have never been able to rid myself of the saggy tummy. I remember watching the TLC series "Big Medicine" and fell in love with Dr. Lomonaco. I told myself if I ever have the opportunity I'd love to have a tummy tuck and I'd like Dr. Lomonaco to do it.Several years ago my husband of 25 years died suddenly leaving me a 43 year old widow. I never thought I'd marry again until I met the love of my life at age 49. Being intimate with anyone was very intimidating. Although my new beau was more than happy with who I was, I wasn't. This was the moment I was looking for to make this change and fulfill this dream. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Lomonaco and yes he was the same wonderful, kind, compassionate man as he was on the show. I immediately got on his schedule and began my journey. Dr. Lomonaco made me feel so good about myself and about the process. I was never embarrassed with him because I knew he understood my concerns and I knew he had my best interest at heart. After my first consultation I was quickly scheduled. Destiny was such an awesome contributor to my success as she carefully walked me through every step of the financial process. My surgery went very well and my recovery was better than expected. To clarify I do have a high pain tolerance but after surgery I never had to take any pain medication. At times I was uncomfortable but never in pain. I tell others who ask that my recovery was more inconvenient than painful. The drains were probably the most inconvenient. Having to empty them routinely and trying to live daily life with them was distracting but overall my experience was and has been very good. At this point I am 6 months out and wore my first bikini 4 months after surgery during my honeymoon. I do have a slight dog ear on the left and an even lessor one on the right that will be corrected with in office lipo at my next visit. I was very excited to know that I did not have to go back to the hospital for this simple procedure.My overall experience so far has been excellent. Because his office has made a few staff changes I'm unable to keep up with the names of who I'd like to praise. However all have been pleasant, caring and efficient and I would recommend and have recommended Dr. Lomonaco and his awesome team to all who ask. A special shout out to Chela for finally getting me to do this review. Unfortunately I'm a little lazy when it comes to reviews. But when it's about an amazing office and doctor, like Dr. Lomonaco, this was something I knew I had to do.So for you ladies or gents who are in decent shape but have been unsuccessful in getting that body you want no matter how hard you work out, give Dr. Lomonaco a visit. You'll be glad you did.
