Dr. Hsu has been nothing short of amazing through...
Dr. Hsu has been nothing short of amazing through my whole experience from start to finish. He has been on top of his communication, if I ever have a question, he is available and I get an immediate answer back, especially with my emails. He is super comforting and he sets realistic expectations. I'm a week post op and I couldn't be happier with my decision to use him as my surgeon.
I had two children, and I'm 4'11'' with the shortest torso. My children could barely fit in me, so they both sat transverse (sideways) and caused me to grow wide and round with each pregnancy. My abdominal muscles were badly separated, (Dr. Hsu mentioned it's the second worse case he's seen), and I had an umbilical hernia. Although the idea of abdominoplasty scared me, I knew it was what I needed to feel normal again. After researching many different Doctors, and setting up 4 different consultations, I decided to go with Dr. Hsu. To add an extra layer of drama I am actually based in Sydney, Australia. (I had met with many surgeons in Sydney, but decided to come to Houston for surgery for various reasons). Because I didn't have that initial face to face meeting, I felt like I was taking a bit of a leap of faith in scheduling surgery. But again, I can't emphasize enough how comfortable Dr. Hsu made me feel and how confident he was in taking on my case. I highly recommend him to anyone considering abdominoplasty. He has been nothing short of stellar.
