5 Weeks PO
Well I am 5 weeks post op today and back to the normal work day and kids are back in school! Not much has changed with me though. I can sleep comfortably flat on my back now :) I've converted to a tank top CG and love it. I don't have to worry about getting it dirty when using the rest room, I don't have to worry about it giving me panty lines if it's the clip at the crotch kind and it just works better for me! I purchased it for $30 well for free actually bc I bought it from Kohls with my Kohls cash, lol. I believe it's made by maiden... I'll see if I can find a picture online to post.
I started back eating clean this morning. Time to get serious about Mexico coming in June. Plus I just spent a lot of money to "look good". I can't wait to be able to start working out again. I have a dr appt next Wednesday which puts me at 6 wks PO so I am really hoping for the ok to start lifting weights and running. I miss it.
I am still pretty swollen right around the incision area and it's still pretty hard but I'm assuming that's all part of the healing process and will go away eventually. I am ready to fit into my regular clothes again but because of the swelling my pants don't fit right and by the afternoon and pm swelling my shirts even look a little crazy.
I tried on a bikini (top & bottom) for the first time this weekend and was very pleased (even with the swelling). I still have some stretch marks but that's just a fact of life and after I'm completely healed with they still bother me I'll just get a tat to cover them :)
Well that's it for now.... it's time for me to get off and get home to get the kids and start dinner. Everyone have a good evening!!!

21 days PO
Well todat is my 3 week mark and I'm beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel!! Dr said my BB was normal as well as some under the skin bruising right below my BB. While I was there they took the few stitches I had out and that made 110% difference in the way I feel!!! My CG doesn't rub and pull now.
In the last few days I've notice a huge improvement in my range of motion. I can sit pretty much anyway I want, my son (small size 10 yo) can sit in my lap without hurting me and I pretty much walk normal again as long as I have my CG on. As far as sleeping I alternateven between the recliner and my bed. I still can't lay flat without it hurting a bit but can lay on either side. The afternoon swelling is still bad but it's getting a little better. I've managed to wear blue jeans a few times without it hurting BUT I had to wear my old jeans that are 2 sizes bigger than I was wearing the day of surgery :-(
So while everything with my TT is going great I think I'm coming down with the flu... the last 2 days have been awful and as soon as I'm done with this update I will wake the kids so I can go to the dr. Who has time to be sick right at Christmas?!?! Especially when it's at my house...... good thing I have an amazing husband and 2 kids that like to help.
Well that's it for now... I'm heading to the dr.

Dr. Schusterman does great work!! He did my mastectomy 5 years ago and I decided to go back with him for my revision and TT and I couldn't be happier!!! His office staff is amazing and you always get treated like a queen :-) Schusterman is not a man of many words but when you are that good it doesn't matter! He will answer any questions you have but not much on small talk...... but for me I trusted him and his ability and knowledge. I would recommend him to anyone!
