Stage 2 garment pics
Drain out and new compression garment
So I had my first post op visit with Dr.Cortes today, I got there pretty early and didn't have to wait long at all. The receptionist took me to a room and told me to take off my garment. In less than 10 min the beautiful Ms. Mariel came in and started to take off the bandages...what a relief, those things get hella itchy. She also removed my drain, that stung a little. I have two very small burns, they said as long as I put triple antibiotic on it ( Neosporin ) I should be fine. They are really tiny so I'm not freaked out too much about it. Then Dr. Cortes came in and told me I am healing very well and that my waist is going to shrink even more. I'm so excited about that. She brought in 2 garments to try on, she said they ran small. I was in the XL garment from the hospital, we stared at the garments and it looked like I couldn't fit into the LRG so we tried on the XL. It fit but I was able to put my hand through the front so she recommended I get into the LRG so I won't have to change it in a few days. Whew! Was that a work out to get into the LRG garment, I even broke a sweat lol, but it clamped on and zipped up and ohhhhh boy was it compressed. Put my dress on over it and I was in love with my new shape. I will post up pics tomorrow. Good night sisters!
