This was my first time with Juvederm. I'm 45 and thought I'd try and smooth out the smile lines a bit. My injections were done 5 days ago by a very well respected plastic surgeon (he did everything right). I still have swelling and bruising. Using makeup to cover those areas.

At this time I don't think I will do this again. Feels fake! The results are ok and I suppose the hardness and bruising will fade at some point. However, I would rather not have to use so much makeup just to go run errands. I suggest not doing this right before a special event or trip. You never know if you will be the type to swell and bruise more than others.

I had juvederm 3 days ago and it looks normal, but I can't move my lips to form the letter "p" or suck a straw without some difficulty. I don't think I will do this again either.
