I am 24 years old, 5'2 and about 135 pounds and had a 32H (US) cup size. I have had big breasts my entire life, and have been trying to get this procedure covered by insurance since I was 17 years old. I always had large breast that were not proportional to my body.

Before my operation, I was very apprehensive about the surgery, the risks, and everything that could go wrong. My doctor was great with letting me know all of the pros, and was also great in that he made sure I was aware of all of the risks and complications that could happen. Nothing went wrong, I have had no complications at all, and the recovery has been very easy.

I am about 4 days post op. and I had the drains and padding removed today. I feel incredible. My Dr. did an exceptional job, and I really couldn't be happier. He took out about 2 pounds total in breast tissue. My recovery has been amazing, pain has been minimal, discomfort more than anything and I am already totally off my pain meds. I have not gotten in to a new bra, but I am hoping to be a C cup, but would be happy with a B cup or a D cup as well. Anything would be better than an H! :) I have new breasts that are beautiful and youthful! No droop or sag, and my entire family is jealous!

I would do this again in a second, and am a big advocate for this procedure!

My rating:

He answered all questions I had, and answered questions I didn't know I had. He was always timely in answering my questions even over the phone, and since I was out of town, he was amazing in scheduling me during my schedule. It was a great experience, and would recommend him to anyone!

Oh, you poor thing. An H sounds incredibly cumbersome and achey. I'm glad you were able to get this done! Thanks for sharing your journey here on RealSelf.

Congratulations Megan!  You are a tiny little thing.

Well it will just keep getting better and better each week.  You will notice the swelling going down as well as shape taking place over the next 3 months.

Enjoy your new perky rack!  The first time I got a look at mine I about cried from joy!! Yippi the old lady boobs were gone.

Thanks for sharing. I am a 38HH and I, too, have large, heavy breasts my entire life. I remember going to sleep in a Wonder Woman underoo t-shirt and awaking in a Wonder Woman bra. I have surgery date scheduled for June 13. The back pain is beginning to be intolerable at times.

Good Luck! The most important part is being comfortable with your surgeon, and understanding the outcome and being comfortable with it.

I feel so much better already, and I haven't even gotten to work out yet. (I workout often- so this restriction has been killing me.)

You will feel great, and the surgery is really easy as pie! :) Keep us updated!
