I did it ????

Arrived at Dolan park hospital at 6.30 am... I was due here for 7.00am. By 7.30 I was escorted to my room... Dolan park is very clean and the reception area is relaxing with beautiful chandeliers.

Straight away I was told to show and change into the gown, hair net and knickers. Within the next 30 mins I had the anaesthesia come see me, a lady going over my file and Dr Di Giuseppe came and prepped me up. By 9 I was taken to the surgery room and they we're so nice and helped keep me calm as the thought of walking myself in scared me! I woke up in another room... Couldn't remember what I was doing I was in a deep sleep dreaming away! I was taken back to my room. Tried to eat a croissant with tea but just got sick.... I needed to hold se food down to have pain killers... This was at 11:30 am.... It's now 6 and I'm taking my first set of pain killers... I'm not in any severe pain. Just a little bit uncomfortable. Can't even notice the drains!!! Nothing to worry about. Definitely get a sports bra that can unzip as when the nurses came to have a look I could never imagine lifting my arms over my head.

On route ... ????

Heading to Birmingham... Feeling really sick. Think it's more the fact that I'm hungry even though I wouldn't be eating at 4am.... Made a coffee then my partner reminded me I'm nill to mouth and can't drink it! ???? that could of been a disaster.... Feeling nervous and scared but no backing out now! All paid this is it. I waited since I was 17 for this. I had my kids and now I'm doing it and I think it's the fact I can't believe that I'm actually getting them done! No more padded bras or the stress of finding a good bikini top.. The days of looking in bra shos and touching all the bras to compare the padding! Now I'm gonna shop by the look and design of the bras! Been engaged for 10 months now and still not tried on a dress! This is my next move! So excited to see how different dresses will sit on my frame now I will have decent boobs ????

My purchases! ??

I've been told by a friend who had breast enlargement last year that wheat germ is a great moisturing oil to rub on the scars as it contains vitamin D! Her scares have almost completely faded and healed with in the year. I hope it works just as well for me! Also purchased my Arnica 30 to start taking 5 days before surgery. This helps to reduce swelling and brusing! And of course my sports bra for that well needed support after surgery!
