After having 2 daughters and gaining 65 lbs I decided to have a tummy tuck. However, over the last 10 years and maybe going to about 6 consultants, they always changed my mind. So finally I did it.

When I woke up in recovery I was miserable. I'm seven weeks post op and not sure why I have gained so many inches in my waist, hips and thighs. I have not yet seen any results.

The pros I guess are my flat tummy and less stretch marks. The cons would be uncomfortable and recovery is longer than anticipated. A lot of tugs, pulls, and pinches. Swelling is horrible.

I guess I could say that if I had 4 months off, it would be worth it. But going back to a physical job at 6 weeks is hardly worth it. I'm miserable every day holding on to my stomach because of the tightness, pulls and tugs.

Every day I come home and sleep because I'm so drained. At this point, I'm just waiting for time to pass and hope for the best.

Great review?

Don't worry, it will get better! I had mine almost 11 years ago! The BEST thing I ever did for myself! The swelling will go down. I recommend not gaining weight in the future, I have gained 25 pounds, but my TT is still holding!!!! I love it!

I am sorry that your recovery is so dificult, especially the swelling and being exhausted. Have you spoken with your doctor at any of your follow-up appointments? I live in the SF Bay Area and am strongly considering a TT, who is your doctor? I wish you a successful speedy recovery.
