A Nose Reconstruction Gone Bad - Hewlett, NY

It took me over 10 years to trust a plastic surgeon to touch my face. I realized that all I needed in 04 was a little botox for my eyes, or maybe a good moisturizer, but NOT an eye lift. Dr Zachary Gerut knew this yet performed a surgery I did not need charging me an inflated amount, around 10,000K!!!!! He botched the eye lift and had to give me a cheek lift which I never needed or consented to. I am still upset I did not sue but trusted him to pay for the reconstruction. He watched the years tick so I could not sue, (beyond unethical) Now I will have the left side of my face lifted, the nerve damage from the cheek lift has been unbearable. Anyone who goes to this doctor takes their fate and throws it to the wind.
As for me it has been a horrible 11 years. I needed to save for surgery again, and would use sculpture to make my left side look like my right.. the left still droops more though.
Next year I am going back to cali for surgery, than I will get all my pictures and post them. (I am still deciding between 2 doctors, when i decide I will post ) When my pictures go up it will be shocking as these pictures will show how much Dr Gerut damaged me. I am so sorry this has taken so long, but last year I was battling breast cancer and could not get to cali for my pictures. God willing in 2016 I will undue all the damage he inflicted on me. I beg anyone going for surgery to look up the doctor and how many violations or lawsuits they have if any.

12/2004, the date above is within the range, I go to Dr Gerut for a bridge of nose reconstruct, he had done a previous nose graft reconstitution and the graft was starting to fail 10 years later. I mentioned my eyes looked tired, (mistake on my part), he talked me into a lower eye lift I did not need. After surgery I woke up with very pulled down lower lids where much of the whites of my eyes showed, Dr Gerut had cut too much skin and it was painful.
My friend called him as my eyes were burning and tearing and I could not see, he did not answer. Finally after many calls and a day later he called in a script for an slave for my eyes..
Within a week when I went back to his office I was complaining of a pain in my left cheek, this is when his wife let slip that I received a "free cheek Lift"
I never asked, needed or consented to a "free cheek lift". I have stunning high cheekbones. This "free lift" left me with intense searing pain on the left side of my face from nerve damage that came about due to this cheek lift.
Dr Gerut promised he would pay for a new surgery to fix the mistake of the last surgery, he sent me 1000, kept emailing me with reasons why he could not send the money. (yes, I have all the emails) After two years he ignored me after the statue of limitations was up.
Bottom line, I am left with severe cheek nerve damage on the left side from the cheek lift I never signed off on or even knew I was getting, I feel this may have been done to fix the mistake on my eyes. The left side of my face is falling while the right side is firm and youthful. My eyes have never looked right since that fateful day.
BTW: the nose graft I went in for.. he put filler there.
