My eyebrows were very light and not much hair at the end of the brows, but they are in nice shape. I decided to get eyebrow tattoo.

I had my first eyebrow tattoo done at the end of 2005. They were perfect and look so natural, they just look a little darker than my natural brows by 10., I was so impressed.

My eyebrows tattoo faded very quickly as it was light, therefore I booked in to have my eyebrow touch up about 8 days ago, it was horrible. I hate them so much--too dark and thick. I look like I put two big hooks on my eyebrows and I am angry all the time.

I am using facial scrub to rub my eyebrows everyday, and I just started to use acid peel, hoping that they will fade quicker. Does anyone know how to fade the eyebrow tattoo quicker. Any other options apart from laser treatment? I am so desperate, please help.

Great review?

All I can say to all you ladies after getting my eyebrows tattooed a few days ago is ''don't do it''. I look like a cartoon character now and wish I could go back and undo what I've done to my face. The inconvenience of pencilling is nothing compared to the embarrassment of what I look like at the moment :(

Hi Karen62, please don't panic so soon...I was like that too...Yikes what have I done!!! but my eyebrows lightened really quickly and look good. Whatever you do don't rub pick or go to extreme measures (yet) time will tell if they are right for you or not. Good luck Sam

From some of the threads I've been reading I like to know what are the names of the places where you been string your eyebrow tattoos removed in the uk/London area? I also had my eyebrows tattooed recently and are unhappy with them and wish I never got them done.

HI, I have just had my eyebrows done, they are really dark but I feel they will lighten sufficiently to be ok, the shape is fine. However after the technician was finished I noted that she had one eyebrow a little too full on the underside, she 'fixed' this with a skin toned/coloured dye...my question, will this fade the same as the dark colour?...reading the other posts it sounds like the skin toned dye is made of some other chemical, am I stuck with this even after the brows fade?..the skin tone is a tad lighter than my skin and to me it is noticeable..help?!

Hi i had rejuvi done to remove most of my spmu but before i found rejuvi i had a lady offer to fix the shape of my eyebrows by doing as you have, the skin colour dye over the top to camouflage it. I turned this down as i was trying to remove colour not add more to it! Luckily for me the rejuvi tech said i had made the right choice as Camouflage is exactly what it is - it will be like the rest of the spmu and fade over time so you will most likely always be topping that up.

Thanks monkeysign....that's kind of what I needed to hear, I don't mind if it fades as the darker colour fades...over time. The shape is nice and I'm sure the colour will lighten...I have Olive skin with dark hair and so it is not too bad : ) I had my llips done a few months ago and absolutely love them, just the outer lip line, and it is sooo good...so not all bad news. : ) Thanks again. Out of interest, what is Rejuvi? I live in New Zealand and never heard of this before???

Hi everyone, I have a bit of a specefic question but have any of you had rejuvi eyebrow removal in Bristol uk? I have found a place called salon couture that looks good and wondered if any one had any experience?
Sad_Sack 2 Dec 2012
Hello I have been reading these posts for a little while now and thought I would join. I can't tell you what a relief it is to know that other people out there share my sadness. So I first had my eyebrows tattooed 7 years ago and had them touched up 2 years ago. They are really really thin which is what I wanted at the time but now I have grown up a lot a realise that nothing can beat the natural look. I am left with two browney orangey uneven lines. I can see that I have some brow hair I could grow back but with these lines that is impossible. I have been scared off laser due to the risk of colour change so rejuvi seems to be the way to go. How long will the scabs be there and when you leave the place do they cover them with anything, can't bare the thought of travelling home with that gunk on my face! How long is it until you can cover them with make up while you are healing and have any of you had success with it? In the mean time should I be using glycolic acid? Sorry for all the questions but I can live like this, I don't understand why I chose to do this to myself. Sad.

Hello, I have had 3 sessions of rejuvi, when you leave the salon they do not cover them, they must remain uncovered so that the scabs stay crusty ( covering them only softens them) you can briefly cover them while you shower but that is it. The scabs stay for 2-3 weeks!! Unfortunately you have to embrace the new look for this time. I still need to have another session due to patchy parts that are left, but SO much better after rejuvi. I wouldn't use anythin on them until you speak to your rejuvi specialist as somethings they won't do after using other methods. Goodluck with your removal, permanent makeup should not be provided without a method to reverse it in my opinion.

Sad sack where are you located?? Inbox me and hopefully I can recommend someone to you x

Hello monkeysign and thank you for your reply. So how long has it been red for after your rejuvi? Once the scabs come off is that when you can start covering the redness with makeup? Also has anyone out there had success with laser? Just trying to get as much info as possible. Im scared that laser will go black but im not sure if i can his from the world for 3 weeks after rejuvi. Any success stories of either would be great to if any of you guys have any.

Hello :) My last session was back at the end of august - they are now nearly fully healed, only a little red around the outside of one, but easy to cover with foundation ( and i dont wear alot of make-up) Remembering 1 of my tattooed eyebrows was above the hairline - this is the one that shows the redness, the other one looks fine! Yes -as soon as the scabs are off you can cover with makeup :D I dont know alot on laser, except that even the place that did this procedure said that its unpredictable and that different permanent makeup colours react differently, but this is also going to look like you have burned the area and you will still scab and have same healing time as rejuvi ( at least with rejuvi it pulls the colour out, laser breaks the colour down and goes through the body until it is released) I personally liked the sound of rejuvi over laser but please look into both and find your own preference. the best person to call on rejuvi is a lady named Andrea 0423230740 she is located in Melbourne and very nice, very professional, very clean and knows all about this, she travels the world doing this service. Make an appointment for Laser and see which sounds more appealing and cheaper in the long run. Anything else you need to know please ask and ill try my best !

Hi all this is my nightmare smpu story. I had my eyebrows done at a very well supposedly established clinic in London. Well I hated them they made them black trying to match my hair colour and made one higher than the other. I looked ridiculous. I couldn't eat, sleep and became distressed. To top it all my brow hairs began to fall out with the smpu. I am a young healthy 30 year old, never had my brow hair fall out before! Well I eventually found a rejuvi technician who is brilliant and removals is her main line of work. My scabs were on for 3 weeks and I have a few still on it has been over 3 weeks now. I do have remains of ink but they are not Black anymore! The remains have gone a a lighter faded grey colour. The skin is very pink in places. In terms of hair, it does pull out with scabs. But my scabs were huge. I do look weird at the moment as I have patches of no hair and faded ink brows in places. But there is hope for removing smpu, but it is not a easy process. I wish somebody had told me the difficult process of removal and I would never ever had had them!!! Please do not have smpu and instead accept your god given natural beauty which is a massive blessing. I will need maybe 1 or 2 more treatments and will keep you all updated.

Long time lurker, new poster... Thought I'd share my experience as it may be of use to somebody. I had my eyebrows tattooed about 4 years ago, I’ve never been totally happy with them, over the years they have faded in some parts to a not so attractive pinkish colour. Lots of concealer and a good brow pencil do mask them well, but I would love to get rid of them forever and be able to leave the house make-up free. Additionally, due to the amount of make-up I have to apply to cover them, they do look heavy and fake, but at least they’re not pink! I got them tattooed as years of overzealous plucking had left me with very sparse and uneven brows (my right brow is missing quite a big chunk and starts further across my forehead than my left brow). I have spent much time researching into removal procedures, but have been scared to pursue things further as laser can turn pigments darker and there is a risk of skin colour change ; rejuvi results in a nasty looking scab which you have to live with for at least 2 weeks and there is a risk of permanent scarring – no thank you. I kind of resigned myself to the fact that I’d have to live with my pink brows forever BUT I am very excited to report that I may have found a pain free, cheap and totally safe, albeit slow removal method. I recently turned 31 and have started to take an interest in looking after my skin in order to delay the inevitable ageing process, I purchased an at home mild glycolic peel from Boots (do a search for 'glycolic' on their website, it's the Sanctury one). I followed the instructions and only used the product a couple of times a week for 5 minutes, to my amazement I noticed that my eyebrows were becoming lighter and lighter. I now slather just my brows up each night and leave the product on for about an hour, some bits of my tattoo have totally disappeared! It’s not a quick fix, I’ve been using the product for about 6 weeks now and progress is slow, I’m excited to see what the results will be in another 6 weeks. I have also been using RapidBrow (can also be purchased from the Boots website for £37) which seems to be working in encouraging the growth of hairs which I thought would never come back due to my over plucking many years ago – again not a quick fix but it does seem to be working. The instructions say the product should be used twice a day but I’ve just been using it once before bed, you can pick it up for about £25 from everyone’s favourite online auction rather than paying the RRP. Hope this helps somebody!

So pleased this has worked for you. Glycolic Acid has long been used in the industry to remove pigment. Its well known that it fades semi permanent make up. Although laser can turn the pigment darker, it does begin to fade after the first treatment and this is not always the case.

I'm really glad you found a solution! my skin just recently peeled from the peel, but it didn't take allot off. Well im considering getting them re-done, ive drawn on photoshop exactly how I want them. The problem is that I can no longer tolerate long eye brow hair, I want them perfect. But using someone else judgement for eyebrows is difficult. fml... I recommend using tca, it works better than glycolic and isnt that much more irritating. I handled the 25% just fine and could probably build my tolerance to handle a few layers, then maybe do a 50% and start with one layer. But since Im going to use retin-a on my face, that will probably do the same thing anyway. We need to shed our skin more like a snake, that's why children have such nice skin, so why the heck should we settle for anything less?

Hope you find success Vee49030, think I'll stick with the glycolic peel as is seems to be working for me. If you do manage to get rid of your brow tattoos please think long and hard before getting them done again. I wouldn't even consider it as there is no guarantee that you'll like them. I'm just thankful that I've found something that's making them look better each day...

Hey Nov2012. I re-did on photoshop how I wanted them, then I went back to the same lady. I guess I just had a feeling or an inner nudge to do it. Well she did an amazing job!!! She made it look better than the picture I provided and I am extremely pleased with the results! I have never had eyebrows this attractive before!! I'm very glad I re-did them. :)
