Feels like forever

Feels like forever since I've updated my profile. I am 10 weeks out and I feel great. My scar has healed and I have been on cloud nine. My weight has finally reached 117 and at one point it was 115 but that didn't last. My goal is still 112 and this is the closest I've been to that in years. Feels good to be within 5lbs.

I still get swollen at the end of the day. But that's okay because when I wake up I am nice and flat. I've been wearing all my cute small stuff and I've been shopping like crazy. I'm back in my size 2's and xs. However I do feel like my shape has changed a bit. I feel like my flanks are bigger. Not to much bigger but bigger. I didn't have lipo there so maybe that's it. Anyone else feel like that?

For the past few weeks I have started feeling tingles at my incision mark. My ps told me I would feel that and it's the normal recovery process - everything is reconnecting (nerves and all). It feels funny at times but I'm getting used to it.

I'm posting a picture of me in one of my fav dresses that I thought I'd never wear again because if my belly! But here I am!!!

I can't tell you what this has done for me in words, hands down one of the best decisions I've ever made. I feel invigorated and sexy. Sex has been better than ever. After waiting 6 weeks we've just been having a ball (pun intended, lol)

Now - I just need to start working out to tone up! I don't have motivation, any advice ?

4 weeks and counting...

2 weeks plus...

So it's been a few days and I want to give an update. I had my second post op (2 weeks) appointment and it went well. He looked at everything and told me that I was progressing very well. My bellybutton was a bit dry so he told me at least for the next couple of days to keep some Neosporin on it to keep moist and then fall off properly.

I am standing fully straight now. I am also sleeping on both of my sides and I feel very good when I get up in the morning. By the end of the day I'm still a little swollen. I'm also finding that when I over eat I am hunched over because I'm too full to stand up straight. Lol. I really have to work on that.

This eating thing is really going to be an adjustment for me. I asked the doctor about my appetite and he said naturally he made his stomach smaller so somethings are going to feel more pushed together inside. So he said my appetite may get a little better but it's never going to be the same. I didn't expect it to be the same but maybe somewhat similar. Lol.

I took a few bikini shots so I'm posting them with this entry.
