I've always had a fold on my eyelid as I'm half...
I've always had a fold on my eyelid as I'm half asian but as I got older, this fold started to drop down making me look old and tired. I wanted my eyes to look refreshed. Dr. Gordon explained the procedure for an upper bleph and was realistic about what I could expect for a final result. I liked that the procedure could be done under local anesthesia only and that he would remove skin and no muscle, giving me a very natural look. The procedure itself was fairly quick and recovery was as expected with some swelling and slight bruising. I do have some numbness around the lash line area which is normal and takes slight getting used to when putting on makeup. My eyes do get a little tired and sore feeling here and there but Dr. Gordon gave me some moisturizing drops to put in them. Otherwise my eyes look great and I can tell a big difference when I look in the mirror or see myself in a photo. Dr. Gordon told me yesterday at my post op visit that the final result will still take some time but so far I am very happy with my results.
