Two years ago at age 41 convinced my skeptical husband to allow us to spend the 5k on my tummy and love handles. I'm 5'4, 120 lbs. had 3 children over the past 16 yrs. I don't find much time to work out but still look pretty good except for the mommy pooch and love handles that crept on the last few yrs. This procedure was definitely tolerable. A bit tender for a few months after but it didn't slow down daily activities or work.
I maintain a roughly 1200-1500 calories/day lifestyle, but I'm disappointed to see little change in my profile since the Vaser. There has been no follow up from my doctor whatsoever. The only time I'm close to the lean look I want is when I am SlimFasting, and then I see some of the benefit of the Vaser procedure where the needle went in. I weigh 122 at present (naughty summer indulgences) and cannot tell I had the procedure even at only 2 lbs over my base weight.
It's easy for the physician to take money for this procedure whether or not they believe that you are a strong candidate for it. I don't believe I was a strong candidate for success because I am already fairly lean and therefore did not see significant results.
