“Happy with Results but Worried About Formation of a Hump. ”
Spent: $2,500 in Argentina

Hyper-projected nose and dorsal hump removal. Pros: Improved nose after cast removal within reasonable expectations. Hump was gone and the tip was shortened. My profile looks amazing and I don't feel like I have to turn away when someone looks at me from the side. My nose fits my face now! Cons: Not being able to breath for awhile and having to sleep on my back with my head elevated on two pillows. I plan to do this for the next month to help with the swelling even though my cast is off.
I had a rhinoplasty with hump removal and shortening of the tip 8 days ago. The doctor removed my cast on day six and immediately taped the bridge of my nose and instructed me not to remove the tape for another 48-hours. I removed the tape this morning and noticed in the following hours that I am developing a small hump in the area where my original hump was shaved down. This was not visible when my doctor removed my cast on day six. Is this swelling in the area that will eventually go away?
