So I am nervous which seems to be normal. I am a mother of 2 kids ages 11 and 5 and I am getting ready to do my tummy tuck on July 1, 2010. This page has been inspirational with pictures and stories. I am still curious about some things but I am ready to get it done. Is there anyone that used silicone scar treatments? Did it work? Did anyone go back to doing situps, yoga,swimming in the first six months if so around when? Well I am nervous, excited, and anxious all in the same heart beat so I will let you all know how it goes.

I can't wait to hear how everything went. I am also going in Friday for my TT and breast aug, hoping everything is smooth and the recovery is fast! Happy healing!

Hope your feeling well and on the road to recovery. I didn't think that the silicone worked so would not waste my money on that. What works best for me is the Palmers Skin Therapy Oil. I did not do any exercise for the first 4 weeks. When I returned to the gym I only did light treadmill and biking for the first month. Then starting week 8 I added my arm weights (15 pounds) back to the routine. I am 12 weeks and still not doing any AB work. Per my PS he wants me to wait until 6 months to do any AB/Core workout. That is just fine with me because I am still sore and have some swelling. Hang in there!
