25 years ago I developed a rare illness which had me on steroids for 23 years to save my eyesight. With prednisone, I gained 200lbs. In 2013 I was told I was stable enough to know longer be on steroids. I came off and deflated 180lbs of steroids. I was a runner and exercise enthusiast all my life. Dr. G was a consultation back 20 yrs ago and could not do the surgery due to large doses of steroids in my system. After the prednisone and losing 180 lbs. I had a large turkey neck, excessive upper arms, sagging stomach. That was my top half. Dr. G. remembered me and we went forth to providing me with a second chance in life. My skin on my face is radiant - even my other docs ask what I am using. I have not a wrinkle on my face, my arms and stomach are flat, lost dress sizes. I go this mo. in Oct for the second phase: my lower half. Ass, hips, and legs. I can't wait. Dr. G. will provide you w/all the time you need. His Nurses are wonderful and you can ask them anything. No ques. goes unanswered. He truly is the best surgeon in NJ. He does not compare with others. I am his "project" and he sincerely means that. He has given me back my self worth, self confidence in this cruel and judgemental world. Steroids hurt the body and the mind. Dr. G. takes care of it all. I have tubes in my stomach, shunt in my brain after 3 brain surgeries - he was not afraid. I felt confident and inthe best hands possible and still do. I would have my lower portion done already, but I wanted the weather to be colder so I did not sweat for my legs. Surgery was excellent. I could not have asked for better results. The scars are healing so well, some are invisible already. I could never give Dr. G. what he gave to me "Second Chance". I am forever greatful and will keep you posted of the new surgery next month. When you have your consultation with him - you will know he is the best. You cannot afford a surgeon that is second best.
