“Dentist Filed a Space in Between my Teeth..Why? - Greenbelt, MD”
Spent: $5,000 in Greenbelt, MD
Posted 22 Jan 2012
I am very happy with my invisalign treatment. I am now on my first refinement tray but my dentist took an electric filing device in between my front lowers and now where there never were spaces before, there is an ugly space in between my front lowers!! It looks aweful!the dentist said that they needed the space but I'm not understanding this! has this happened to anyone else! and will the space close????...my teeth looked perfect until now!!!!

I can understand why that would seem alarming if you weren't sure the reason. My guess is your dentist is making a little space so your teeth can line up better.
